Take I-17 or Cave Creek Road north to Carefree Hwy
From I-17 go East on Carefree Hwy to 14th Street (From Cave Creek Road, go W to 14th)
Turn South on 14th Street and follow it to the end
Open the cattle gate and follow the dirt trail to the left, it will head to the south
The LZ is between the two foothills and just to the south.
This road is a bit rough and best handled with a pickup or other somewhat high clearance vehicles.
P.S Please have an Arizona Recreational State Land Permit if you are going to fly at any desert location, you can get the paper work online at

Get a family permit its only $20 a year, That way the Cops wont kick you off the land and give you a fine.
